Last night the Red Arrows, the British precision flying team, very kindly put on a display for me. I have a feeling it might have been for the benefit of the nearby airfield, but luckily they decided to spend half-an-hour whizzing around above my house. At times they were so close it looked as if they were skimming the treetops. Here's the pictures I took that by accident managed to actually catch the planes as they sped by at several hundred miles an hour.
